Yoga Classes

At Soul Tribes we move with intention, breath, and most importantly- enjoyment. Classes in Vinyasa flow and Yin, moving and creating shapes with mindfulness. As a non-heated studio, you can expect a pleasant room temperature without external extremes effecting you, which will enable you to stay in-tune with what’s really going on in your body. Our flow classes are a more gentle approach to yoga, we focus on muscle awareness, body/ joint alignment and stability, flexibility, mobility, balance and longevity, all with the incorporation of helpful steady breathing. With a fun vibe in each class and, possibly, some bad dad jokes now and again, come to learn, to grow and to play in your practice in a sustainable and kind way.

If you are newer to yoga, we suggest to try our Seed or Bloom classes first. Anyone with medical concerns or pregnant please inform your instructor before class so we can make sure you are looked after and supported for your practice. Classes are adaptable to accommodate all abilities and levels.

Embrace Stillness with Yin Yoga

(Beginner friendly)

Lovingly referred to, by us, as sleepy stretching, this is a practice of stillness, holding and relaxing into poses to open your connective tissue, muscles, ligaments and fascia. A great opposite of what we tend to experience in our modern life, Yin yoga helps bring us into balance with our body and minds relaxing and opening at their own pace. It helps to calm our nervous system, stress responders and finding the quiet space in body, mind, and soul. If you fall asleep in class not only is that great but we will kindly wake you up when class is finished. No need to worry about fully letting go and relaxing.

 

- Bloom

Discorver the Basics with Vinyasa Flow Fundamentals

(Beginner friendly)

First timers or many timers, Bloom is a class to explore the fundamentals of your yoga practice. Bloom is a gentle flow class practicing connecting with breath to help you move and get highly in-tune with your body, while taking some of the guess work out and keeping it in a familiar flow each visit. You can expect to strengthen, stretch, balance, learn, and have some fun in each class.

Vinyasa Flow Level Up

(Intermediate/ Advanced)

Thrive is a vinyasa flow class for yogis wanting to have a little more adventure and challenge in their practice. Geared for intermediate or advanced practitioners, practitioners should have a solid understanding of poses and vinyasa. Deeply connecting to breath to help facilitate your movement from shape to shape, experience more challenging sequencing and class flow, and advanced poses.
